{"id":234,"date":"2021-10-29T12:51:31","date_gmt":"2021-10-29T12:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/v3.thedataduck.com\/srt-dev\/?p=234"},"modified":"2021-10-29T13:10:01","modified_gmt":"2021-10-29T13:10:01","slug":"sachin-tendulkar-donates-medical-equipment-to-makunda-hospital-in-assam","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/v3.thedataduck.com\/srt-dev\/sachin-tendulkar-donates-medical-equipment-to-makunda-hospital-in-assam\/","title":{"rendered":"Sachin Tendulkar donates medical equipment to Makunda Hospital in Assam"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Sachin Tendulkar has donated medical equipment to a charitable hospital in Assam, a move will benefit over 2,000 children coming from underprivileged families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>HIGHLIGHTS<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Sachin Tendulkar donated medical equipments to a charitable hospital in Assam<\/li><li>Sachin Tendulkar is also the Goodwill ambassador of UNICEF<\/li><li>Tendulkar\u2019s foundation helped in providing nutrition and education to tribal communities<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Sachin Tendulkar, who is also the \u2018Goodwill Ambassador of Unicef\u2019 has donated the necessary equipment to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to Makunda hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Makunda hospital is located at the Patharkandi area in Karimganj district along the Assam-Mizoram border and this move will benefit more than 2000 children coming from poor families.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Vijay Anand Ismael, who is a Paediatric Surgeon of Makunda hospital, said Sachin Tendulkar\u2019s foundation has donated the medical equipment to the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are very thankful to Sachin Tendulkar\u2019s foundation. We receive a lot of very rare cases and the pediatric surgical facilities in the North East are very limited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIn the past 20 years, we are the main pediatric surgical facility of entire Northeast India and patients from all the NE states are coming here. We are thankful to Sachin Tendulkar\u2019s foundation that they have decided to give us a very costly machine and other medical equipment,\u201d Dr. Vijay Anand Ismael said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Vijay Anand Ismael further said that it will help the hospital to provide better service at a low cost to the poor people of the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sachin Tendulkar\u2019s foundation has also helped in providing nutrition and education to tribal communities in Madhya Pradesh and this initiative will also help lot of under-privileged communities in North East.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sachin Tendulkar has donated medical equipment to a charitable hospital in Assam, a move will benefit over 2,000 children coming from underprivileged families.
